About
Hendouse (Hend Wahsh) has tapped into the world of yoga since 2012, and she has been lucky to learn from wise and inspiring individuals. Having the chance to share those lessons and experiences with her students fills her with joy. She’s very passionate about Yoga, as it helped her physically and emotionally. She’s a Scoliosis warrior and living with Scoliosis can cause emotional and physical pain.
On the physical level, she was suffering from chronic back pain due to scoliosis and weak muscles but after practicing yoga, it helped her in reducing this pain drastically and to live pain free; on the emotional level, yoga helped in accepting the body as it is and for someone who’s living with scoliosis, they would know the emotional impact of it, but, with yoga, she managed to overcome these emotional issues and decided to become a certified yoga teacher.
Throughout her journey, she believes that yoga is not only a physical exercise. Yoga is more than postures and stretching; it has a deeper meaning and spiritual aspects that has an effect on the mind and soul as well as the physical body. She gives Hatha and Vinyasa classes. Her classes focus on breath and alignment to maintain the integrity of the spine and back; in each pose you take appropriate time to work on the correct alignment to avoid any injuries and bad patterns; Her classes are dynamic yet relaxing.
